The local Ski area of Bozeman Montana. Located 20 minutes away from town by car. This medium sized ski resort offers a great local ski spot for a small price. -To get here you can take a car or make your way to the fairgrounds of Bozeman where a bus will take you to the resort for free. If you need help finding a way to the resort just ask your hotel clerk or anyone in a ski shop, people in Bozeman are very friendly and are more than willing to help a fellow skier out. - You can rent equipment in town or at the mountain. Both have comparable prices. - Ski tickets average around 60$ a day with a discount for half day passes and a discount when buying 3 days or more. -Lines are minimal during the week days and maybe a little bigger on the weekends. - food is available at multiple cafeterias at the base of the mountain and in the middle of lifts. You can also pack a lunch and place it in a locker on your arrival. -The mountain offers all levels of skiing with black diamonds at the top of the lifts. - It is possible to hike to the top (the ridge) and find your own path down the mountain but find a local to go with unless you are a highly skilled skier as paths above the lifts are not marked and a beacon is required.
